COCORICÒ TAPES
With the presence of the director, the composer Matteo Vallicelli and the protagonists
In 1993, young Loris Riccardi is art director of the club that was to become the most transgressive in Italy, Cocoricò. He invented the concept of nightclub-theatre, turning the dance floor into a place of provocation in a period marked by creativity and destruction, when everything seemed possible as well as about to collapse. Its story is told by way of never released footage and the comments of those who experienced the club.
Born in Aosta and an adopted Bolognese, Francesco Tavella has been working with production companies and film directors as a script writer and editor for years. He conceived and co-wrote Claudio Costa’s documentary Voglio correre and collaborated on After The Bridge, directed by Rizzo/Toscano. He has debuted as director with Cocoricò Tapes.
